1. How to Enter the Contest:
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Live a Little Bigger GPS Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) sponsored by the Clackamas Federal Credit Union (CFCU) begins September 2nd, 2008 at 12:00 AM (Pacific Time) and ends on November 29th, 2008 at 11:59 PM. (Pacific Time).
- To enter this contest: Visit www.livealittlebigger.com. To enter online, you must fill out the entry information completely including such information as first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address. A few additional related questions may also be included. One Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online serve provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. All online entries must be received by end of day November 29, 2008.
- Entries will also be accepted at CFCU branch locations. No faxed or mailed entries.
- All entries will be eligible to win the prize of a GPS unit selected by CFCU if they meet the entry criteria and are not part of any eligibility restrictions.
- All entries submitted become the sole property of the CFCU. Information will not be sold to other entities.
- By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions made shall be final.
2. Eligibility:
- The contest is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older, are permanent legal resident who reside, work, go to school, or worship in Clackamas county region of Oregon, USA — within CFCU’s member service areas. Entries from other locations will be disqualified.
- Employees of CFCU, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
- Winners and qualifiers will be required to sign contest release forms and agree to all contest conditions, restrictions and liability.
3. Prize:
- The contest will run September 2nd, 2008 through November 29th, 2008. The winner will be selected by December 15th, 2008 and notified via email.
- The prize includes one (1) Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS) Unit, selected by CFCU. Any delivery, shipping or other additional component costs necessary to use the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. If the prize winner elects not to incur such costs, then they lose the prize package and an alternate winner will be selected.
- No cash value. No substitutions. Contest prize is not transferable.
- The prize winner will coordinate redemption of the prize with CFCU.
- All federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the individual winner with no liability to CFCU.
4. Selection of Winners:
- Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received. Drawing to be held on or before December 15th, 2008. Decisions of CFCU with respect to the contest are final and binding in all respects.
- Winner will be notified by email.
- If a potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) calendar days from the first notification attempt, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.
5. Conditions:
- Prize winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release. Such documents must be returned by the date and/or time indicated within such documents. If a potential winner fails to return such documents within that time, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Except where prohibited by law, a winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the CFCU to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state location on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Winner’s refusal to agree to these terms will mean forfeiture of the winning prize.
- Prize winner agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the officers, employees and agents of CFCU, and its affiliates, owners, agents or representatives, Ant Hill Marketing and its affiliated companies against any and all claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death), or loss to property, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their participation in this contest, and not caused by the negligence of any of the above.
- CFCU, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of CFCU websites or who is otherwise in violation of any of the rules.
- CFCU and its contest partners including Ant Hill Marketing, reserve the right to cancel or modify the contest, and/or to modify any of its rules, including the substitution of a prize that they consider to be of equivalent or greater value, which cancelation or modification will become effective upon announcement which may occur at any time as deemed necessary in the sole discretion of CFCU.
- No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
- Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of CFCU.
- CFCU and its affiliates, Ant Hill Marketing, are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete on–line entries due to system errors, failures or any technical malfunctions or any typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize, including all website related information, which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate. If for any reason this contest is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized interventions, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of CFCU which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the promotion, then we reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
- Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the McLoughlin branch of CFCU or by sending a self–addressed stamped envelope to CFCU GPS Contest, 1325 NW Flanders, Suite 200, Portland, Oregon, 97209.
- After Decmber 15th, 2008 you may obtain the name of the prize winner by mailing a self–addressed stamped envelope to: CFCU GPS Contest, 1325 NW Flanders, Suite 200, Portland, Oregon, 97209. Requests received after December 31, 2008 will not be honored.
6. Internet Contest Privacy Policy:
- By use of this website and by entering the contest, you agree to CFCU’s website Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at: http://www.clackamasfcu.org/privacy.php
7. Governing Law:
- Any litigation arising out of this contest shall be litigated in the circuit court of Clackamas County, Oregon and subject to Oregon law.
